About Us
Hello everyone,
we are Manuela and Gayan , a young married couple of two worlds: the western world and
the eastern one, one Italian and the other Sri Lankan , but united not only by heart and destiny, but also by a
common life project that led us to wish to live in full balance and respect with
the environment and nature.
In 2013 we bought a land of 1 acre in Tangalle , in the south of the wonderful
island of Sri Lanka.
A beautiful country rich in history, traditions and still wild nature; but where, as in many or perhaps too many countries of the world, the man is advancing forcefully, ruining wonderful landscapes with cement and consumerism , chasing trivially western ideals thinking it's the best way to grow as a country, not knowing or ignoring that now they are pursuing is a design that we westerners are trying to correct, recognizing the huge errors of deforestation in exchange for the ignorant money reserved for a few and instead has damaged many others.

As we took this situation to heart, we could not stay and watch and so was born
our life-project.
Our desire, shared with friends and people we met along our journey that we have listened to and supported, will start with the use of our land, full of trees and tranquility despite being a 700 m from the sea and a short distance from the village.
We would like to reconstruct what is going lost of the ancient Sinhalese tradition ; we would like to create a place of peace and tranquility where we can live, work and give the opportunity to let other people, nature and travel lovers, know the truth country and the ancient life on the island.

OUR PROJECT IS REALLY GREAT:
to start with, it would include the construction of small houses built in full respect of nature and tradition: ITALY - "NATURAL CABANAS" (houses built in raw earth and with natural and ancient materials; fresh and absolutely comfortable and clean). We will cover the cabanas with modest
- "TREE HOUSES" (comfortable houses on trees, from where you can have the wonderful experience of relax immersed in the song of the many birds present in that lagoon area, being a reserve protected and therefore perfect for practicing "BIRD WATCHING").

A place where being able to organize mini-courses of local vegetarian cuisine , to be able to take home a little knowledge of tradition.
